Adjudication

Where a dispute has arisen under the contract as adjudicator my objective will be to provide you with a fair, rapid and inexpensive decision.

I have acted as adjudicator in non statutory adjudication, for example in multi million pound engineering and technology transfer disputes.

I am happy to use the adjudication procedures within the contract, employ published adjudication procedures or to rely upon the Scheme for Construction Contracts Regulations 1998.

I will ensure that each party has a reasonable opportunity to present its case, knows what the case to be answered is and is in possession of the evidence and information that is adduced against it.

Using thorough technical expertise I will be able to understand the issues, make an informed and as required, reasoned decision on complex matters quickly. I will conduct the proceedings in accordance with the requirements of natural justice or procedural fairness.

I am a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, the Construction Confederation, the Chartered Institution of Mechanical Engineers and the Heating and Ventilating Contractors Association panel of Adjudicators and the Construction Industry Council Register of Adjudicators.
